The pictures… finally
August 27th, 2006I’ve been wordy lately. At Rachel’s request, I’m finally posting pictures of Sharon and me. We don’t take a lot of pictures of ourselves (we really ought to take more, I know), so these are random shots from a variety of places and times.

Abusing a statue in Chicago with Becky

Lest I create marital strife by Becky being so famous as to appear on my illustrious blog, I also include this pic of Jared yo-yoing. He is ridiculously good at this. Even though you can’t see his face, it is obvious that this is Jared because: 1) he is yo-yoing, and 2) he is wearing a Penn State hoodie.
Hey guys…finally!! We almost forgot what you both looked like! Haha. We miss you both very much and hope that all is well!! Much love, Sav & Steve
so uh… I see what Sharon and Becky are doing to that big head, but what – pray tell – are you doing in that picture there, tristan? It’s… uh… inspirational.
S&S: /Ahem/ I hereby solemnly swear to take more pictures of us, and maybe even to post them sometimes… I think I forget that our friends actually want to see pictures of us. I mean, I’m with me all the time, so I don’t find pictures of me very interesting… which I guess is a good thing.
ACB: Thanks, bro. I meant it to be be inspirational. In fact, I’ve been thinking about getting into inspirational photography…
Actually, if I recall correctly, the following was going through my head at the time: If that disembodied head got reconnected, it would totally be on a sumo wrestler. So to answer your question: I was making a disembodied statue head face while posing as a sumo wrestler. But my body type utterly prevents me from looking like a sumo wrester no matter how hard I try. Hence the confusion over what exactly I am doing in that picture.
you forgot the part about freezing our butts off in Chicago. But I was still yoyoing. I’m so hardcore.
Now THAT’s what I call a Labor Day-bor!
Hope everything is well.
Hey Guys,
Thanks for the photos! I haven’t checked your blog in quite a while, but very glad to see my friends are alive and well. Merry Christmas from Morocco!
