Arrowhead: Filming

September 23rd, 2008

One of the main projects we want to accomplish this week is making training video’s for ABC’s volunteers.  Ben’s master plan is to upload the videos to Youtube so that volunteers can watch the training videos online before they arrive.  There’s also an intro video that helps churches and teams know the different ways they can help.

We’re all done the taping, so now it’s on to the editing process!

Arrowhead: Day 2

I arrived at Arrowhead Bible Camp in Brackney, PA last night.  I’ll be here for the next few days helping out and hanging out.   I’ll post whenever I can and show pictures of whatever we’re up to!

Unity video

June 20th, 2008

We had been looking for a way to illustrate a sermon on Ephesians 2—breaking down the dividing wall. I decided that the best way would be to focus on the positive idea of unity in diversity. While I was looking for songs that would fit with this idea, I came across Lincoln Brewster’s “Praises Be”. That song provided most of the inspiration for the images and feel of the video. My favorite part is the pen “unwriting” notes at the end. :)

Cannot Say Enough recording

March 9th, 2008

We recorded this acoustic version of “Cannot Say Enough” live straight from our mixer one Sunday a couple months ago, so it’s not the most fantastic quality. Still, it’s a great song. Props to Josh G on his good guitar riffs, esp. at the end. The song was originally recorded on MercyMe’s “Almost There” album.

“High Roller” video

February 3rd, 2008

We showed this video on Sunday to go along with a sermon on Mark 12:38-44, which is the story of the poor widow who gave two copper coins. The widow gave humbly and sacrificially. This short video is meant to take a humorous poke at the opposite – how God does not intend for us give. Thanks to Josh and Pastor Fred for playing the main parts. Piece of trivia for ya: Josh is Fred’s son.

Before the video, we covered the song “Little Is Much” by Downhere, and after the video, Fred transitioned right into his message.
